City of Chicago Firearms Permit Documents

I'm guessing that getting a firearm illegally in the city of Chicago takes about 20 minutes and $40. On the other hand, for all us law-abiding folks, it can take upwards to 6 months to legally acquire a firearm. Both the city and state have gone to great lengths to make firearms ownership difficult, confusing and/or time-consuming. 

I've posted below all the documents and forms necessary to legally own a firearm in the city of Chicago. One of the requirements of the Chicago firearms ordinance is that you take a firearms class from an authorized firearms instructor. We offer one of the most comprehensive Chicago Firearms Permit Classes out there. Our course is a little more expensive and longer than the state mandated minimum. Plus it comes with $200 of free training resources. But for serious students I think you'll find it well worth the time and money.
